Profile:

 

  • In my most recent position I was working as an Assistant Facilities Manager, working for a long-established software company based in Cambridge. I looked after the hard services side of the building and all M and E services; part of my role was also to run any M & E projects and help with the design specification of a potential new building. Previously I worked within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry with over Thirteen years of experience in maintaining, repairing and servicing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. I have previously worked as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager. In these positions I was responsible for small works projects and the organisation of maintenance and service works quotations. I also attended customer meetings for reviews of contracts and organisation of technical works. I also had the responsibility of mentoring on site with Junior and less senior Engineers. I was responsible for the organisation of department and engineer labour, along with providing health and safety criteria and paperwork dependent on works/project
  • I have a reputation for solving problems quickly and have an appreciation of the importance of providing long term fixes. This has resulted in the reduction of unnecessary costs and has ensured a high level of customer satisfaction. My work has helped to gain profitable contract renewals and remedial works
  • Notable clients I have previously worked with include Cambridge University, British Transport Police, MBDA, Bidwells, Arm and Johnson Matthey to name a few.
