  • I serviced& maintained air conditioning units at Department for Work & Pensions Job Centres across the North West region.
  • I also serviced & maintained units at DVSA, British Transport Police, HSE sites & other sites where approved DBS access & Police vetting were required.
  • I was also responsible for the diagnosis of faults on the systems that enabled repair quotes & required parts to be pre-ordered.
  • On many occasions I was requested to work across other areas nationwide, which I happily undertook.

  • We are currently working with Oldham Council on all their air conditioning sites to service, repair & maintain their systems

  • I was trained and worked on a specialist job for Legionella. This role entailed travelling nationally for the monitoring of pipe temperatures & readings on specialist systems in care homes for the elderly
  • I was part of a team where we installed white goods at a refurbished RAF site, this was made up of 50 blocks & each contained four different areas for the installations

  • I had an engineering placement at Andrews Engineering to gain more experience in mechanical engineering while I was still studying at Wigan College
  • At my placement I learnt how to interpret drawings in metric and imperial measurements and I could then construct components to fine tolerances using both methods of measurement
  • I was also trained on the use of CNC machinery

 

Manchester United FC                                   Kiosk Assistant & Team Leader

August 2012 – May 2014

  • I worked at Manchester United as a Kiosk Assistant and worked my way up to become a Team Leader
  • During my role as an Assistant I served food, drinks & confectionery on match days
  • I also had to prepare food to the required Food standards to be able to serve to the public
  • I was handpicked as a member of a select team of 16 who were trained to work on the new kiosk systems that were being trialled. This involved stock ordering, money management & customer service. I was also introduced as part of this role to David Gill, former Chief Executive for MUFC
  • Following on from my role in the new kiosks I became a Team Leader where I was responsible for the manning of the kiosk, the on-going training of the staff who worked in it and with the added responsibility of balancing the tills at the end of the shift on match day
