  • I found a company called Advanced Air Conditioning to work with whilst on my holiday working visa. With this company I worked on a lot of spilt ducted, package, chiller, ahu’s and cassette systems. We would look after big contracts such as McDonalds and Aldi. I would carry out maintenance and do services calls on any systems that were not working. I have learned a lot with this company on refrigeration and electronic subjects. I love working on Daikin systems and would get sent to any service call that involved a Daikin (split, ducted, Vrv1, 2, 3, 4). My company were so pleased with my work they sponsored me enabling me to stay in Australia for another 4 years
  • I got promoted to Sunshine Coast Service Manager. I would find new customers in and around the Sunshine Coast QLD. I would quote new jobs, service and repair

  • I arrived in Australia 27-02-2014. For a month I worked with a friend who has his own air- conditioning company called Air Supply air-conditioning that is based down in Gold Coast. I helped him with installation and service calls mainly in houses around the Gold Coast on AC split systems. I really enjoyed it

  • During this period I worked for a company called HLA Services as a Refrigeration / Air- conditioning service and installation engineer. This involves installing new systems into customer’s premises and servicing the equipment. I was mainly doing service and maintenance in factories, offices and shops, maintaining the systems and making sure they were preforming correctly. When systems have problems, I use problem solving methods to find the fault, which I enjoy. I have completed my apprenticeship at HLA which was over a 4 year course, studying at Grimsby institute. With this company I worked on Air conditioning, chillers, freezers, down flow systems, package units, AHU’s, Extract and supply systems and humidifiers. I enjoy this work and hope to continue to progress in it

I started an apprenticeship with Comau which was to last 4 years. My role was to programme Fanuc Robots which are used in the automotive industry. This involved using I.T skills to input codes to the robots for them to operate. Sadly due to company problems many workers where made redundant, me been one of them
