Multi-Skilled Engineer

June 2019 – Present Day

  • Based as Principal Contractor on site, partner with client to supply preventative and reactive maintenance work within agreed SLA targets across HVAC, Electrical, M&E and Plumbing.
  • Conducted property appliance procurement, sourcing, negotiating and securement of cost-effective pipe installation materials
  • Provide consultative advice to client on most suitable ways to complete projects, resolve issues, stay within budget and meet agreed deadlines
  • Manage preventative and maintenance projects from inception to completion, motivating resources to complete to agreed client plans, deadlines and quality standards
  • Undertake preventative maintenance across boilers, generators, fire alarms, emergency lighting, water checks and building fabric, ensuring all records are accurate and maintained

  • Covered and supported the DFM when needed and carried out my normal duties I e ppm’s and reactive jobs
  • As a health and safety champion I made sure all procedures are followed
  • Yate depot:
  • Prior to Shire Park I was given the opportunity to set up the Yate depot, manage all compliance’s and all work on site for 6 months
  • Emerald Park depot:
  • As well as carrying out my day to day duties I supported the DFM with setting up the site and implement Arcus FM procedures

2008 – 2013

  • Main responsibilities are to complete a ppm schedule on time to ensure compliance, with several key Sainsbury’s distribution centres across the south and east Midlands of England
  • As a mobile engineer my key duties were the first fix and maintenance of gas, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, A/C plant and equipment
  • This was achieved by working with the site FM Manager, suggesting improvements, cost saving and supplying quotes for remedial work
  • As principal contractor, I had to manage sub-contractors to ensure the quality and safety of their work on the customer’s premises

  • Carry out any work requested by site for example power supply, plumbing, building repairs and bay doors
