Profile:

  • I started my career at British Gas with whom I served my apprenticeship which I enjoyed greatly. After becoming fully qualified I went onto train new apprentices and assess their progress having become D32 accredited; after many years I was tempted to work for Vaillant due to the quality of the products and reputation for excellence.
  • I enjoyed my time at Vaillant and learnt a lot more about product design and controls technologies in both the domestic and commercial fields
  • As I enjoyed the non domestic side of the industry more I moved into the FM and industrial energy sectors, I found myself particularly interested with large forced draft burners so a move to combustion specialist was perfect for me and I greatly enjoy the new role with every day being different and continually learning new things and encountering new technologies / applications.
  • Stricter regulations on air quality and efficiency are driving the industry to develop new products to suit various markets across the world with solutions that are reliable and cost effective. In the UK much of our work is in large hospital installations including steam boilers integrated with chp’s.
  • We also cater for industrial process sites such as furnaces, drying ovens, power stations, district heating schemes, breweries, and office / commercial site
