Facilities Services Commercial Gas Engineer
September 2008 – Present
Working on the Lloyds Banking Group contract on the corporate side, carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance, service and repair across 8 sites in Yorkshire
I have a vast experience on a wide range of gas fired appliances. I specialise in direct fired gas boilers of varied size but mostly large scale forced draft package burners such as Dunphy, Weishaupt & Nu-Way up to 2.2MW. I am also very confident on modular & tubular burner boilers.
I also carry OFTEC oil qualifications due to the forced draft burners being duel fuel. I am qualified to carry out work on both single & two stage oil pressure jet burners.
I am solely responsible for the servicing & maintenance of boilers across the Yorkshire branch of our company & pride myself on my fault finding ability, repair completion levels & paperwork/certification organisation.
In addition to service & repair work I carry out gas tightness testing to TCPC1 requirements as well as being able to work on boosted gas supplies.
I am a qualified first aider & have received relevant company training on health & safety requirements & asbestos awareness as detailed below.
I also have a good knowledge of FCU, VAV & VRF systems as well as all aspects of AHU’s. I have a good understanding of electrical, mechanical & pneumatic controls & I am also one of a small number of engineers on my contract that can carry out on-load generator mains failure testing & currently hold my 18th Edition electrical qualification.
