I initially worked on my own and was responsible for organising my own schedule and work plans, I would go to jobs, assess the work required and order parts and equipment to complete the job. I soon was promoted to supervising a team and I was responsible for managing a small team to carry out this type of work on a number of large contract covering the North of England; Responsibilities included: 

  • Installing boilers and heating systems for care homes
  • Installing commercial plumbing systems in care homes
  • Servicing and fault finding in plant rooms and repairing or replacing
