  • After leaving high school at 16 I went straight into working for Brian Buckleys as an apprentice and served my full apprentice with them. During my time with Brian Buckleys I was working on domestic heating systems (installations, fault finding and repairs). Common plumbing skills were used regularly copper work as well as a lot of steel pipe work. I had a lot of experience with commercial appliances and installations including boiler house installations under the supervision of commercially qualified work colleagues as I am only domestic gas qualified. In 2012 this company went into administration but re-opened under Brian Buckley Services LTD which I remained at until May 2013. Here I spent most of my time fault finding and repairing domestic boilers and hot water systems and doing home owner / landlord gas safety certificates
