Responsible for assessing and carrying out works across multiple buildings across the MediaCityUK portfolio including but not limited to:

  • Supervision of Contractors working on site making sure they’re working within the HSE Regulations and RAMS specific to the site and works being carried out
  • Ensuring works run to schedule often working to tight timeframes
  • Responding to reactive breakdown repairs including such things as office doors door closers fixtures & fittings tile repairs etc
  • Carry out full re-tile of floors to the bathrooms in the hotel
  • Complete job tracking to meet KPI targets using systems such as FSI GO & Planon
  • Carrying out PPMS (planned protective maintenance) involving the inspections and remedial works to roofs lift lobbies fire doors & general fabric of the buildings to an exceptionally high standard
  • Responsible for projects such as installation of revolving doors to receptions which involved re-laying of stone works to pedestrian walkways and internal tiling of floors in reception areas whilst abiding to all HSE regulations and also keeping a professional and safe environment to clients and customers given the nature of the busy working environment
  • Responsible for the maintenance & safekeeping of all the of roof areas involving scheduled quarterly inspections (PPMS) inspections to BMU cradles jet washing and general maintenance to handrails lightening cables etc. Then arranging for any remedial works to be carried out to ensure the safety and security of the estate
  • Working safely under the ‘Working at Height’ and ‘Harness Safely Awareness’ regulations
  • Fully trained to use ‘Latchways’ roof safety equipment
  • Working under pressure when necessary and to tight deadlines and budgets
