Promoted to Account Manager responsible for 4 UK cites looking after the CAE (Canadian Aviation Electronics) contract worth £3m. I have a team of 3 Facilities Managers and 30 cleaning and handyperson personnel and 2 engineers

Directly responsible for

  • Manage the account administration, ensuring all business and commercial aspects are managed professionally
  • To grow business reputation and longer-term business opportunities through effective client relationship management and client service excellence
  • Responsible for finance incorporating the P&L, budget planning, WIP, aged debt management and the overall commercial performance of contract

Facilities Manager

Promoted to a Facilities manager responsible for 5 sites of the K&N contract, within this role I manage a team of 2 engineers, 1 site supervisor and 20 cleaning staff

Directly responsible for

  • Service delivery of FM contracts to meet the preset operational and financial criteria and the requirements of the contract scope and specification
  • Direct and co-ordinate the activities of the mobile FM Team, Mobile Engineers and Specialist Service Providers (SSP) to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service including preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive repairs and small works
  • Review and control WIP and Debt
  • Compliance with company SHEQ, iCMS Policies and Procedures
  • Manage work and contractors in line with Customer QSHE Work Management Procedures
  • Plant inspections are carried out by operational team
  • Contractors are monitored and inducted for work activities
  • Carry out the appropriate Risk Assessments and monitoring of Health & Safety actions for required site work activities
  • Meet Customer requirements and expectations
  • Comply with and maintain SLA’s

  • Availability of resources for designated contracts
  • Make and document any PPM changes / variations
  • Add / delete assets to contract in a timely manner

Promoted to the Soft Service Manager responsible for the Airbus Defence & Space contract. Based in Stevenage this 19-acre site comprises of a variety of offices, cleanrooms, machining rooms, Restaurant and Washroom Facilities. Responsible for 1 cleaning supervisor, 4 receptionists and 30 cleaners and 12 engineers

Directly responsible for

  • Deputising for the Account Manager
  • Preparation for VIP visits from MP’s to Royalty
  • 31 direct reports
  • Reviewing Risk & Method Statements, issuing work permits

  • Day to day management of reception / meet & greet
  • Arranging for maintenance to be carried out by sub-contractors
