  • As a Mobile Engineer my job title was HVAC / Mechanical Engineer. Looking after the south east the contract, looking after Santander retail banks contract and corporate offices. My day to day responsibility was to carry out site monthly ppm. For example L8, emergency lighting test, ppm checks on site plant. I also was on call once a month covering the hole south east, you could get a call out to attend, to an emergency to an issue that a branch or office has log
  • I would also at tend site to any retail high street bank that log a reactive task in hours, to attend and fix so that we meat SLA. Type of reactive calls was AC faults, VRV, VAV, VRF energy consumption issues, leaks, plumbing issues and mechanical / fabric etc. faults. As this was a banking contract work hat to be to a high level. And when emergency occurred hat to be fixed in a quick turnaround time. As if a bank has to shut down fines can be very costly to the company. This can also cause the bank loss of revenue due to a bank being closed. I also worked overtime when needed to carry out ooh works. I also was a key holder for the banks which not everyone get access to do. We also assist on other contract like Bluewater shopping mall offering addition staff labour to back up staff. Working shift pattern 4 on 4 off days and night. We also do shift on building in the canary wharf to client like HMRC

  • As a Mobile Engineer covering the south / east, the site I look after are NatWest bank, Direct Line, Virgin media, Nationwide Bank, Royal Bank Scotland etc. My duties as an engineer are to carry out fire alarm test to all different type of alarm system, from an addressable to a conventional panel. I would also test site call point and smoke heads, and carry out a battery check and issue a certification. I also carry out fire dampers check to protect products used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ducts to prevent the spread of a fire inside the ductwork through fire resistance. Carry out an emergency lighting discharge test and issue a cert. I would also carry out a fire extinguisher cert, and a fire door cert. I also carry out a PMV once a month to all sites to carry out odd jobs and carry out ppm per asset. I would also attend breakdowns on sites when ask to attend by helpdesk. Once month I would be on call out attending to all breakdowns log by sites out of hours. I would receive all my work from a I pad which I would open and close jobs, buy the I pad app and the same when ordering parts. The type of jobs I would carry out on site is plumbing faults, doors and lock faults. Blockages light bulb changes plus ballast and starters repairs. I would also carry out Air con services, filter clean, and condenser checks and clean the condenser coils if dirty. I would also carry out a pat test to all the appliances per asset on site and issue a cert and record the pass and failed appliances. Attend to electric faults, which I would always try to fix but if for some reason I was are not able to fix, I would make safe and assign job to the correct trade engineer to attend. I would also complete quotes when needed and work overtime when needed. Also due to working in retail, you have to work around the client, which means sometimes-attending site early in the morning and sometimes attending job at night or out of hours to get job complete

  • As a Mobile Engineer, I looked after all Morrison supermarkets throughout Great Britain. My main geographical coverage is South East and Kent stores, but required to cover other areas when necessary. Mitton look after all Morrison’s plumbing- heating, drainage work 24 hours a day 365-day year. My responsibilities are to attend to break downs to plant, blocked urinals, blocked toilet and sinks. Install sinks, pumps, motors, pipe work, taps for sinks, toilets, ball valve, flush handle etc. Changing filters and belts on AHU’s. I have strong administrative skills. I am use to completing paperwork such as; time sheets, job sheets, obtaining post repair / job reviews from the Client. I am able to complete jobs on time by giving by MML time scale on job sheets, ensuring jobs are logged on and off the MML system

  • Once I became qualified, I also worked on work and pension contract which consisted of looking after all the job centre buildings in London. I used to look after the mechanical plant attend breakdowns and carry out ppm on different sites. For example AHU, pumps attend to leaks, no hot water in building. I did overtime when needed doing to get a job done. When I got headhunted by Mitie, I moved over to another contract
