Our client who are a large UK based Facilities Management firm are looking to appoint an Accountant to work with the fiance team in the St Ives based office.
The account will ideally specialise in a particular area of practice, potentially including management accounting, internal audit, forensic accounting, taxation, assurance and corporate finance
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing accounts and tax returns
- Auditing financial information
- Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements
- Analysing business plans
- Providing tax planning services based on current legislation
- Financial forecasting and risk analysis
- Dealing with insolvency situations
- Negotiating the terms of business deals with clients
- Meeting and interviewing clients
- Managing colleagues
- Ideally qualified to Degree level
- AAT qualified as a minimum
- AATQB status would be beneficial
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualifications Desired
- Experience within a similar role
- Previous experience within the Facilities Maintenance or Engineering sector (Not essential)
- On offer is a long term on-going temporary position which has a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.
- Day rate of £350 - £450 p/d
