Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of facilities management in the UK. They are looking for an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join their team, who will be working at a prestigious pharmaceutical site in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all electrical and associated requested building services duties.
Maintenance Electrician duties:
Fault find and carry out repairs on chillers, cold rooms AHUs, VRVs & splits
Carry out all PPMs and reactive tasks as necessary to onsite systems and specialist equipment.
Ensure the site's logbook is kept up to date, and all losses, recoveries and additions are recorded appropriately.
Responsibilities will also include being a member of the on-call rota for the contract.
Tasks will be allocated using a PDA, so all activities must be recorded and logged in real time
Undertake any other engineering or maintenance tasks as required by the Help Desk, Area Supervisor, or Line Manager (building fabric maintenance)
Requirements for the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer role:
Experience:
Previous experience in a similar FM maintenance role
Experienced with planned and reactive maintenance
Experienced working in the commercial sector
Qualifications:
City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Level 3
City & Guilds 2079 F Gas
