Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: Manchester
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Basic + Overtime
OTE: Up to £70,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a growing HVAC contractor delivering commercial projects across the North West.

The Role

As an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Installation of VRV/VRF, split, multi-split, and heat pump systems.
• Refrigeration pipework, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and commissioning.
• Working from technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Liaising with site managers, contractors, and clients.
• Completing commissioning and installation paperwork.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Air Conditioning Installation Engineer.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Experience with VRV/VRF and split systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• CSCS Card.
• IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
• Experience with Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Toshiba, Samsung, or similar manufacturers.
