Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: Up to £55,000 + door-to-door travel

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit multiple Air Conditioning Installation Engineers to join our team, covering London and the Home Counties.

Working across a range commercial sites, you will be responsible for the installation of air conditioning units, mainly working on split systems and VRV's. 
Approximately 65% of the work is within NHS environments so you will be required to work in some health care environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial and healthcare environments.
• Installing split systems, multi-split systems and VRV/VRF systems.
• Installing pipework, containment, brackets, condensate drainage and associated components.
• Assisting with equipment positioning, system set-up and commissioning activities.
• Reading and working from drawings, specifications and project plans.
• Carrying out installation works in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard of workmanship and within project timescales.
• Working closely with project managers, supervisors and fellow engineers on site.
• Completing job documentation and recording work using company-issued phones and tablets.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Experience within the air conditioning industry is desirable but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of split systems and VRV/VRF systems.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Experience with Daikin and Mitsubishi systems is beneficial.

Working Hours

This position offers flexible working hours; however, occasional weekend and unsociable hours will be required to support project and client requirements.
