Job Purpose:

  • To ensure the client receives the highest level of service to their assets by carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, minor improvements
  • Manage all jobs that are logged on the internal Concept Evolution CAFM system
  • Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
  • Ensure jobs are completed wherever possible within the agreed SLA’s
  • Coordinate job extensions with management and the Helpdesk
  • Carry out ad-hoc M&E tasks issued by the helpdesk
  • Carry out porterage and fabric tasks as issued by the helpdesk
  • Assist Multi-Skilled Engineers where required

  • To undertake basic “handy man duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks ,making minor repairs to cabinets , desks , and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
  • To undertake some plumbing activities including but not limited to clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, servicing systems etc.
  • Assist with office moves (minor office churn) including furniture moves
  • A reasonable level of fitness and agility
  • Accountable for high service delivery within the Elekta Portfolio to client and CBRE requirements
  • Liaising with the contract management team
  • To comply with the Elekta and CBRE policies on Health & Safety, COSHH and other statutory legislation
  • Cooperate fully with audit findings in relation to Elekta or CBRE Performance audits
  • Investigating complaints and taking appropriate action
  • Ensuring feedback is provided to the helpdesk on progress of M&E jobs
  • Carry out specialist technical and non-technical work as deemed appropriate to the continuing maintenance function of Elekta Limited
  • Participate in the out of hours call out rota
  • Work overtime to carry out emergency repairs as required and supervise other personnel during out of hours periods
  • Offer technical support and back up as required
  • Ensure all personnel and contractors that may be working in hazardous areas take all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safe systems of work and permit to work procedures
  • Use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works
  • Carry out risk assessments for ad-hoc activities and monitor of day to day implementation of safe working procedures and safe systems of work
  • Carry out and/or adhere to any reasonable request made by CBRE Management
  • Complete Permits as required for all subcontractor visits

Prioritise work to ensure SLA’s of the contract are met





Success Measures/Objectives:

Each role on the contract is measured by the performance data relating to their reactive performance and the quality of their PPM’s from Audits.



Core Competencies:

  • NVQ level 2 Electrical (or similar) Desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Health & Safety experience
  • CAFM systems experience
  • Good knowledge of general building services
  • Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smart phone use)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
