Summary of the role
The Building Fabric Supervisor is responsible for providing a dedicated and proactive building maintenance service to sites throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
A customer facing role, the position will share their time across all sites, undertaking surveys of the buildings, identifying repairs, planning in agreed works and managing/undertaking through to completion. The candidate will be required to meet key stakeholders, act as a dedicated point of contact and provide support in delivery of core planned and reactive maintenance services. The role reports to the M & E Manager will require management of a team of engineers as well as close liaison with the office team and clients. Including various ad-hoc duties that arise.
The successful candidate must have an engineering background and competency to:
Accurately estimates labour hours, material requirement and trade/skills needed to complete a job.
Provide technical support to engineering team and the client.
Good written and verbal communications skills and have demonstrated the ability to be approachable and tactful.
Good computer skills, experience in Microsoft Office Package, Word, Excel, Teams & Outlook
Excellent analytical skills.
Good organisational and planning skills.
