Commissioning Engineer

Location: Mobile / Home Based
Salary: £38,000–£45,000 + Overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week
Travel: Door-to-Door Pay
Vehicle: Company Car – Private Use Allowed

We’re recruiting a Commissioning Engineer to join a growing field-based team working on specialist low-energy ventilation systems across commercial sites, mainly schools, academies and universities.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll receive full product training before progressing into managing your own projects.

The Role

• Commission ventilation and HVAC systems
• Electrical wiring checks and fault finding
• Test controls and system operation
• Planned maintenance and upgrades
• Aftersales works
• Liaise with contractors and customers on site

The Commissioning Engineer will be home-based, travelling directly to sites with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong electrical background
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or similar
• 18th Edition desirable
• ECS Gold / Skilled Worker Card advantageous
• HVAC, AC, BMS, Controls, Ventilation or Fire Alarm backgrounds considered
• Full UK driving licence
