Our client is currently looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join their existing team of engineers working across council lead contracts in Walthamstow and surrounding areas.
The successful Domestic Gas Engineer will be responsible for breakdowns, installation work and service and maintenance.
Job Details:
- Domestic Gas Engineer
- Monday - Friday, 8am / 5pm
- Van/Fuel Card/PDA
- £35,000 + Overtime + £175 call out + £30 per job
- Company bonuses'
- Carry out inspections, diagnose faults, fit parts and carry out repairs
- Testing and commissioning of equipment
- Undertake gas servicing as well as heat recovery units & unvented cylinders
- Testing of smoke alarms
- Complete job sheets for every task, daily log sheets and weekly time sheets
- Liaise with all stakeholders as required to ensure a high quality service is delivered
- Provide technical support and advice
- Supervise and potentially train staff
- Attend tool box talks
- Comply with company health & safety at all times
- Undertake any other duties that may arise
- Experience as a suitably qualified heating/gas service engineer working in commercial or domestic properties
- Domestic gas qualifications (essential)
- Previous experience with PDA devices
- Excellent communication skills
- To be able to work as part of a team and under own imitative
- Full clean driving license
