Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Large Retail & Distribution Sites

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider covering large retail stores and distribution centres across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician seeking a stable, long-term position with strong earning potential and structured call-out payments.

The Role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance

• Electrical fault finding and repairs

• Emergency lighting testing and compliance checks

• Power distribution maintenance and small works

• Basic plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, minor leaks, pipework)

• General fabric maintenance (doors, locks, minor building repairs)

• Supporting compliance across large retail stores and distribution centres

• Participation in a 1 in 6 call-out rota

This is a mobile role covering:
Wisbech, Boston, St Neots, Spalding, Skegness, Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge.

Salary & Benefits

• £43,000 basic salary

Requirements

To be considered for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Experience within commercial or facilities maintenance

• Ability to carry out multi-skilled tasks including electrical, plumbing and fabric work

• Experience working within large stores, warehouses or distribution centres (desirable)

• Full UK Driving Licence
