Electrical Engineer (Mobile Role)
Location: Birmingham (M5 / M6 / M42 region)
Salary: £41,600 – £45,900 + benefits
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
The Role
We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team, supporting a portfolio of sites across the Birmingham region.
This is a mobile role covering multiple locations (up to 35 sites), delivering both planned and reactive maintenance within government buildings. You’ll play a key role in keeping critical services running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with compliance and safety regulations
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently
- Working independently while liaising with FM teams and site stakeholders
- Managing your own workload and travel across the region
What We’re Looking For
- Electrically qualified engineer (essential)
- Experience in multi-site maintenance (FM background preferred but not essential)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Full UK driving licence
