Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

£45,000 + 25 days holiday & Bank Holidays + Travel Card

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading facilities and property maintenance provider supporting a prestigious commercial and retail portfolio across London.

This role combines a static site presence at a major shopping centre in Enfield two days per week, with foot-mobile maintenance coverage across Central London (Zones 1 & 2).

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial buildings, ensuring all electrical and building services systems remain fully operational and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Electrical fault finding, testing and repairs
• Maintaining lighting, power, emergency lighting and small power systems
• Supporting mechanical and general building services maintenance where required
• Responding to breakdowns and service requests across multiple commercial properties
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Providing excellent client-facing service at all times

Requirements

• Qualified electrically with relevant City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications
• 18th Edition desirable
• Previous experience in commercial building maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Multi-skilled knowledge across general building services
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently across a mobile portfolio

Package

• Salary: £45,000
• Monday to Friday
• Travel card provided for Zones 1 & 2
