Electrical Shift Engineer

Location: Central London
Salary: £45,000 + Overtime
Shift: 4 on / 4 off – Days & Nights

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading FM company working on a large, established healthcare site in Central London.

You will be working as part of an on-site engineering team, alongside a Mechanical Engineer, carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.

The Role

• Carrying out electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Working on motors, contactors and associated electrical equipment
• Replacing faulty electrical components
• Emergency lighting testing and repairs
• Lighting, sockets, switches and general electrical maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns and site faults
• General plant room and building services maintenance
• Working alongside the Mechanical Engineer on site
• Ensuring all maintenance is completed safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Previous commercial building maintenance / FM experience
• 18th Edition beneficial but not essential
• Previous NHS or healthcare experience would be ideal but is not essential

Package

• £45,000 basic salary
• Continental 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
• 7:00am–7:00pm days
• 7:00pm–7:00am nights
• Lots of overtime available
• No call-out rota
