Electrical Supervisor

Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £53,000 DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
On Call: 1 in 3 rota

We are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join a leading global Facilities Management provider, working on a large, long-term healthcare contract in Central London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor or a strong Lead Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step into a supervisory position.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of up to 8 engineers and supporting the day-to-day delivery of electrical maintenance across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of electrical engineers
• Managing PPM and reactive maintenance across the site
• Electrical fault finding and maintenance
• Overseeing contractors and subcontractors
• Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
• Ensuring statutory and site compliance requirements are met
• Managing additional works and remedial works
• Ensuring jobs are completed correctly through the CAFM system
• Providing technical support and guidance to engineers
• Supporting the development and progression of the engineering team
• Ensuring safe systems of work and site procedures are followed
• Assisting with site audits, documentation and compliance records
• Participating in a 1-in-3 on-call rota

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Strong commercial electrical maintenance experience
• Previous supervisory or lead engineering experience
• Good knowledge of PPMs, reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding
• Experience working within a large commercial or critical environment would be beneficial
• Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• 18th Edition would be beneficial but is not essential
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Experienced Lead Engineers who have already taken on additional responsibilities and are looking to progress into their first full Supervisor position will also be considered.
