Monday - Friday, 8am / 5pm

Office Based - Farringdon 


The UK's leading FM company are looking to recruit a Fleet Manager to work across one of their blue-chip accounts based in Farringdon, City of London; with a fleet of 200-250 vehicles you'll be responsible of ensuring that transport operations are safe, efficient and profitable as well as purchasing or leasing, scheduling maintenance and managing all related services and facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of fleet management
  • Analysis, reporting, budgeting, supervising and support in negotiating
  • Working closely with management to develop strategies for improved cost efficiency
  • Communicating with insurance partners and organizing the appropriate insurance for drivers and vehicles
  • Assisting with the drafting and implementation of effective policies and processes regarding fleet operations
  • Managing strict vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimise downtime
  • Monitoring behaviour and recommending disciplinary action where necessary
  • Stakeholder engagement to establish and manage strong working relationships with all key stakeholders to develop, document and coordinate project plans
  • Manage overall fleet management budget and P&L, meeting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances
Qualifications / Experience:
  • Degree education (essential)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications such as project management (advantageous)
  • IOSH (desirable)
  • Successful background in delivering projects in a complex and demanding business
  • Experienced working with sub-contractors & suppliers
  • Microsoft packages including MS Project and Auto CAD
  • Time management, ability to prioritize and multitask
  • High level of verbal and written communicational skills
