Electrical Engineer
Location: Ryder Court, London (SW1Y 6QB)
Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 (depending on experience) + Overtime + Package
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Call-Out: None
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Electrical Engineer to join a busy, high-profile commercial site in Central London. This is a standalone role, ideal for a reliable and professional engineer who is confident taking full ownership of a site.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of building services, working closely with the client and supported by additional engineers who attend the site when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across electrical and mechanical systems
- Maintain and operate plant including chillers, cooling towers, and AHUs
- Take full ownership of site operations as the lead engineer on site
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance
- Liaise directly with the client, maintaining a professional and high-quality service
- Manage site documentation, logbooks, and reporting
- Coordinate visiting engineers and specialist contractors as required
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, etc.)
- Experience working in a standalone or lead engineer role
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Strong communication skills, particularly in a client-facing environment
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently
The Role Offers:
