Maintenance Electrician – Up to £40,000 + Call Out + Benefits
Location: Sedgefield / Darlington
Salary: Up to £40,000
Call Out: 1 in 4 (£150 standby)
Hours: Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced Maintenance Electrician looking for a stable role within a professional facilities maintenance environment?
We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to join a busy on-site engineering team supporting a large commercial site in the Sedgefield/Darlington area.
This is a client-facing role offering long-term stability, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work within a highly professional engineering environment.
The Role:
This is a highly regulated environment where health & safety standards are extremely important.
Engineers will be required to follow strict PPE and hygiene procedures, including gowns, hairnets and site protocols.

The Role:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems
- Fault finding, repairs and remedial works
- Working on lighting, power and general building services
- Supporting site compliance and statutory maintenance
- Working closely with the client and wider engineering team
- Completing maintenance paperwork and job reports
- Participating in the on-call rota (1 in 4)
This is a highly regulated environment where health & safety standards are extremely important.

Requirements:
- NVQ / City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience within FM, commercial maintenance or building services
- Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Hard-working and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Up to £40,000 salary
- £150 call-out retainer
