Maintenance Electrician – Commercial Building Services

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established facilities maintenance team covering Manchester and the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with experience in commercial maintenance, building services, PPMs and reactive maintenance looking for a long-term permanent role with overtime and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Attending reactive maintenance breakdowns
• Electrical fault finding and repairs
• Electrical compliance checks and testing
• General building services maintenance
• Working on:
  • AHUs (Air Handling Units)
  • FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
  • Pumps and motors
• Completing maintenance reports and logbooks using paper and IT systems
• Covering commercial office buildings across Manchester and the North West

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician, Mobile Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Strong electrical fault finding skills
• Commercial building maintenance experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £41,000 basic salary

• £100 standby payment
