Maintenance Electrician

Salary: Up to £39,000
Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Wednesday: 5:00am – 1:00pm

Role Overview

• Working as part of a team alongside 3 other engineers
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Roughly 50% planned and 50% reactive work
• Maintaining commercial electrical systems including lighting, power, sockets, switches, fuse boards, and light fittings
• Completing emergency lighting tests, fire alarm checks, sprinkler checks, water temperature monitoring, and tap flushing
• Liaising with subcontractors and issuing permits to work and RAMS
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and compliance standards

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical qualification
• 18th Edition qualification
• Strong electrical maintenance experience essential
• Previous experience within building services maintenance preferred
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
