Multi Trader - Shopping Centre, PO1

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hard-working Multi-Trader / Fabric Engineer to join a team of six, delivering maintenance across a local Shopping Centre working on behalf of the biggest FM provider in the UK.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £34,000 per annum
• Call-out rota: 1 in 6 (minimal requirement – only 4 call-outs last year)

Role Overview:

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong all-round fabric or multi-trade background. The position involves both indoor and outdoor maintenance, with approximately 50% of duties carried out externally, so a good level of physical fitness is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• General building fabric maintenance
• Laying slabs and paving work
• Carrying out patch repairs
• Maintenance and repair of doors and locks
• Supporting general site upkeep and minor building works

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a multi-trade or fabric engineering role
• Strong practical skills across general building maintenance
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
