We are working exclusively with a growing FM and reactive maintenance provider to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager to support the operational leadership of a busy and expanding division.

This is a key role within the business, overseeing reactive maintenance, building fabric and minor works delivery across a varied portfolio of commercial, public sector, retail and education clients.

The successful candidate will oversee 2 Contract Managers alongside operational teams and subcontractors, helping drive operational performance, client satisfaction, commercial growth and service standards across the region.

This role offers genuine progression potential within a growing business and would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced operational environment with a strong mix of client management, reactive FM delivery and minor works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing reactive maintenance and minor works projects up to £100k

  • Managing and supporting 2 Contract Managers across the region

  • Leading operational delivery across building fabric and reactive FM services

  • Managing engineers, subcontractors and operational support teams

  • Building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

  • Managing operational escalations and service delivery issues

  • Supporting pricing, quotations, variations and additional works opportunities

  • Driving commercial performance and margin improvement

  • Monitoring KPIs, SLAs and operational reporting

  • Ensuring compliance across health & safety and operational governance

About You

  • Strong background within reactive FM, building maintenance or building fabric environments

  • Experience managing contracts, engineers and subcontractors

  • Commercially aware with experience managing minor works and additional works opportunities

  • Strong operational and client-facing management skills

  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple workstreams

  • Experience within small works/minor works environments up to £100k preferred

Package

  • £65,000 - £70,000 basic salary
