We are currently recruiting for an experienced Static Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management and Building Services company at a prestigious commercial site in St Peter’s Square, Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, site-based role with a strong work-life balance, overtime opportunities, and long-term career progression.

The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a large commercial building, ensuring all electrical and building services systems are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
• Fault find and repair electrical systems and associated building services equipment
• Maintain lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, HVAC systems, FCUs, and plant room equipment
• Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems accurately
• Identify and report remedial works where required
• Carry out minor mechanical and general building maintenance duties when needed
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and site compliance standards
• Support the wider engineering team to maintain high service levels across the site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification desirable
• Previous experience within Facilities Management, Commercial Maintenance, or Building Services
• Experience working on commercial electrical systems and building services equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
