Job description

JOB TITLE: Variation & Lifecycle Fund Manager
REPORTING TO: Hard Services Manager / Account Director

JOB PURPOSE
Manage Hard FM operations, projects, variations, and lifecycle works within a PFI environment, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure health & safety compliance, permits, and safe systems of work
  • Supervise engineering teams and maintenance activities
  • Manage CAFM systems, KPIs, SLAs, and contractors
  • Deliver projects and variations on time and within budget
  • Support lifecycle planning, budgets, and financial control
  • Lead and develop staff while maintaining strong stakeholder communication

PERSON PROFILE
M&E background with relevant qualifications. Proactive, organised, safety-focused, and a strong communicator with good problem-solving skills.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Building services experience with NVQ/C&G Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of CAFM/PTW systems and subcontractor management

Desirable

  • PFI, CDM, HTM/HBN knowledge
  • IOSH/NEBOSH or Authorised Person status

Safe delivery, KPI/SLA performance, successful projects, and strong financial control.
