Static Site Role based in the Greater Manchester area

£40K + Car/Allowance + 5% Bonus

Working for the UK's leading and largest Mechanical and Electrical companies. The company employs over 2,000 multi-skilled maintenance engineers including electrical, mechanical and general maintenance staff. They cover air conditioning, electrical, BMS and the full building services package. They can offer excellent training, career progression and a stable and secure employment.

We are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager to ensure that excellent working relationships are maintained with the Customers Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the customer's site lead contacts and their representatives, ensuring that all work is conducted in a manner which ensures that all the day to day aspects of the service level agreement between our client and the Customer are delivered in accordance with the contract requirements, SLA's and KPI's.

These include but are not limited to:

The preparation and effective management of site budgets, including monthly financial reporting. Challenges on the site teams to self-deliver services wherever feasible and practical

Regular negotiations supported by quotes with the customer and subcontractors ensuring value for money.

Developing the contract by delivering new services to the customer and generating more revenue at agreed budget margins

The management of a CMMS system covering all assets and services under control, ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained in accordance with good engineering practices and effective housekeeping standards

The writing and presentation of a Monthly Operations Reports coving all aspects of the contract

Effective management of the site team. This includes, but not restricted to:

Monthly SHEQ and team meetings

Recruitment of new staff & Company Inductions

Annual review appraisals

Performance management and personal development programmes

Providing a safe place of work

Innovation and Corporate responsibility initiatives

This is a key role within the M&I Senior Leadership team; the post holder will be expected to be a dynamic thinker with a "get it done" attitude.

Budgeted contract revenues will be expected around the £4M/yr level

This is a multi-site role managing ~100 people of all levels of the business and based at various locations with sites clustered around Bristol, Nottingham and the North of England

As the Key Account Manager you will need to be able to multi task and keep a calm persona when working under pressure. The contract with the customer is to deliver Total Facilities Management so a good all round knowledge of Hard and Soft facilities management is required.

The post holder will be expected to travel regularly to attend customer and our clients SLT meetings; this is likely to require overnight stays away from home.

Qualifications or Required Experience :

As a Key Account Manager you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, dealing with security people, cleaners, managers and senior directors.

Strong experience delivering both hard & soft Services.

Problem solving skills and a positive demeanour is essential

Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred

Excellent oral skills, writing and numerical acumen is desirable

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present to small and large groups of Senior Management

An Engineering or business management diploma, degree or HND is desired
