Maintenance Electrical

Our Client is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their leading mobile maintenance division. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance electrician around the London, South East region who wants to be a part of a company that really look after and respect their employees with fantastic opportunities for development and progression. 

The role is to operate within the maintenance team as a mobile maintenance electrician carrying out planned and reactive works to various commercial contracts. Over time is available weekday and weekends 

Maintenance Electricians main duties include: 

To be responsible for the reactive and planned maintenance, M&E plant and basic building fabric work. To include, but not limited to: minor electrical works, electrical testing, fault finding, basic plumbing and carpentry works. 
-Replacement Ballasts & Light Fittings 
-Replacement Pumps & Inverters 
-Fault Finding - Electrical & BMS 
-Installation Of New Circuits & Equipment 
-EICR Remedial Works 
-Minor Building Fabric Repairs 
-Weekly Fire Alarm Testing 
-Weekly Tap Flushing 
-AHU Cleaning & Servicing 
-Basic Plumbing Repairs 

Responsibilities include: 

-Completion of a weekly timesheet and submit in accordance to the departments procedures 
-Provide out of hours call out facility on a rota system 
-Provide detailed and accurate reports for any remedial works required whilst attending site 
-Updating of on-site log books for compliance purposes 
-Assist in the preparation and implementation of emergency contingency plans 
-Ensure accurate records appertaining to all planned preventative maintenance and the emergency repairs completed 
-Oversee all site activities, both maintenance and project specific and ensure all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures and requirements 
-Complete field operative Method Statements and risk assessments as necessary 
-Perform all duties in-line with current health and safety legislation and company policy with relevance to safe working practices and the storage of chemicals 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

-City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Engineering to 17th Edition 
-2391 Inspection & Testing 
-Recognised apprenticeship 
-Good communication & interpersonal skills 
-Commitment to providing a high quality service to our customer 
-Willing to work flexibly and as a team member 
-Ability to be detail conscious 
-Initiative 
-Accuracy
