General Overview:

To provide support for the site based CAFM system based at site

To act as a business analyst and solution provider for the CAFM solution that is assigned

Administration of the CAFM system, updating PPM Plans, Asset data and locations

Providing Management Information Reports


Job Summary:

System Administration & Support

Establish and maintain good working relationships with all CAFM system users and other staff in support of their reporting requirements

Provides 1 st line hands on support for allocated platforms, and manages 2 nd and 3 rd line escalation routes into central IT team or software vendor to ensure resolution of issues

Completes system administration tasks including user management

To carry out the daily systems checks to ensure that the CAFM system is fully operational and that the backups are successful. Any exceptions are highlighted with the IT and / or operational support teams to progress to a resolution.

To provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting on key CAFM data

Training and awareness of products, services, and processes through the engagement of super users by appointment

To carry out systems patching and application deployments as necessary

Works with the Change and Release function and the Services teams, to safely deliver updates and enhancements and will act as a sponsor for any changes into the live environment where it impacts a customer

Ensures relevant contract specific system documentation is created and maintained

Provides project resource to support commissioning and decommissioning activity

Manage day-to-day operation of Maximo CAFM System

- Monitoring CAFM server performance. Checking logs for errors and troubles

- Creating users and granting proper security rights

- Maintaining Master tables

- Generating PPM schedules

- Publishing Reports to users

- Maintaining Asset and PPM. Importing new assets and PPM schedules into the system

- Regularly checking PPM Planner for overlapping PPM schedules

- Providing site with PPM schedules every month

- Basic IT support to helpdesk (Software Installation, anti-virus updates, etc.)



The successful candidate must have experience using SAP ERP

Presentation and speaking skills essential, and the ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet online project management tools

A patient and "customer first" manner essential for this role, and being prepared to go the extra mile in order to complete the task on time, and to high standard

A proactive and "can do" approach is key to the successful outcome for the department and this role.

Prioritisation and planning is a key feature of this role, and the role requires that the individual should be able to manage their time to provide successful outcomes per the department KPI's

The Package

Salary: £40,000+ depending on skills and experience

33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
