Mail Room Operative

We currently have an opportunity for a Mailroom Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading facilities management company. You will be based at the clients large site in Hounslow

As a Mailroom Operative you will be responsible for:

  • The delivery, collection and sorting of goods and mail within service level agreements
  • To ensure all Recorded, Special Delivery and courier items are delivered and appropriate signatures received
  • To provide additional delivery or collection services within the building as directed
  • To be able to load a trolley with items in the correct sequence of drop points and collection points
  • To use the radio system in a professional manner and maintain appropriate etiquette at all times
  • To complete helpdesk jobs as required
  • To assist with meeting room and event furniture set-ups
  • Demonstrating pride & professionalism in all facets of customer service. To take ownership of all work
  • Communicating with clients professionally at all times, by understanding their needs, promoting our service
  • Supporting the Client to introduce service enhancements & developments.
  • Co-operating with both immediate and wider range of colleagues to the betterment of the site customer

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Mailroom experience
  • Excellent time management skills and have a methodical approach
  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Good eye for detail
  • A customer focused approach, exhibiting a reliable and responsible attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have a good work ethic
