Extra Works Supervisor

Working for one of the leading FM providers in the UK, Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance company.

We are looking for an Extra Works Supervisor to be based in and working around London on one of the fastates growing contracts in the UK.

You will be liaising with the Account Director, Mobilisation Manager and the Senior technical Supervisors across the contract 

Some of the daily duties are but not restricted too:

To oversee the transition of major contract, mobilise the contract in line with the new arrangement and manage all aspects of the contract

To comply with SHEQ Processes and ethos and leads by example

Manage small M&E Work up to £30k to service quote and manage

 Responsible to provide a compliant service

Responsible for the P&L, providing accurate finance reports to the Cluster Account Manager on a monthly basis.

Control Costs in accordance to Budget

Manage a team to deliver the service

Continuous Improvement and look for growth opportunity

Responsible for the Monthly Report & Payment Mechanism

Attend Meetings with the key stakeholders

Set team objectives

Carry out team PDRs

Management of Service Fee and Variation invoicing


-Mechanical or Electrical/HVAC Qualification/Technical background


-Minimum 2 year experience

-Working knowledge of SFG20

- Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff, or difficult situation

- Capable of handling a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis.

- Pro-active in achieving the highest standard of operation

- To be able to respond to many requests and at times work under pressure

- Able to lead a team to achieve the best results

- Previous experience in working in a commercial environment

- High level of commercial awareness

- Experience of working in public buildings

- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH Legislation

- Experience within a similar role/environment is essential

- Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc

- Able to work on own initiative

- Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc

- Able to communicate at all levels

- Good time management skills
