  • My current role at the company I am a mobile air conditioning engineer covering multiple contracts throughout Harrogate and the north side of Yorkshire. We look after many different contracts from schools to offices to private domestic houses commercial offices and the diocese contracts which look after all the vicarages throughout the north side of Yorkshire. I do all service maintenance for the contracts majority air conditioning ie breakdowns repairs a monthly quarterly annual service PPM visits working on a variety of equipment I have been also utilised by the installation team Robinson’s and have help with installing vrv and single split air conditioning units. I have worked on ground source heat pumps and assisted the heating division with installations of boilers and pressure vessels changing heating valves and actuators

  • My current role at MITIE is a mobile maintenance a/c engineer. I perform PPM tasks on a daily basis servicing assets which are generated on weekly outstanding reports. Being mobile I work from home travelling throughout north and south Yorkshire. Over the years I have worked on various sites which are as follows south
  • Yorkshire police all site retail Primark’s action for children and many other blue chip companies. I have extensive knowledge in VRV’S VRF’S single splits chilled water systems FCU’S AHU’S on maintenance and breakdowns. I have also work on quite a lot of trend systems from the front end of BMS to outstation to control panel fault finding. My expertise in the company are a/c breakdowns I get called out for fault codes and diagnose quote and repair to get the systems back on line. I am universal with manufacturers and have worked on many systems Mitsubishi Daikin Sanyo Fujitsu Toshiba. Being in maintenance I have good understanding of buildings run and how things operate I do L8’s water and fire alarm testing emergency lighting. I am currently undertaking a course called employment development scheme learning engineer planning estimating sales health and safety. I am doing this to get a better understanding of how the business works and trying to progress eventually to new levels.

  • I started the company as an approved a/c installer I was taken on due to the fact of my knowledge and how the units worked internally. I was then going to be trained in installation to bring the two elements together. We were reasonable for installing single splits vrvs condensers and evaporators. I learnt the aspect of pipe bending, swaging, and flaring running interconnecting cables in. Also, we were responsible for providing power to the units single and three phase and correct drainage for units and systems

  • I was employed initially as a sub-assembly worker. My role was prepping fan motors belts and pulley to be installed into the close control units. I progressed through the company working through all aspects of the company from sheet metal work to cassette building making pallets for unit’s panel and line wiring. I was also brazing at factory standard for the pipe work on the refrigerant circuits before they went in the units and have built close control units from metal causing right down to finish end of line testing. Whilst at the company I was fortunate to get on a city training course apprenticeship where I was sponsored to have my college education paid for provided I could finish the course within two years

  • I started the company as a cable layer and installer of cctv. Worked on various sites around the UK erecting poles for mounting the cameras on installing lines of sight perimeter alarms and coax terminating back at the monitoring end
