Profile:

  • I am an accomplished broad-based professional with 20 years’ experience as an electrician. Due to the diversity of the companies I have worked for, I feel that I have experienced a wide variety of installations. I have a very logical approach to everything I do and am always eager to learn more
  • My past positions have ranged from fitting alarms and maintenance to complete rewires of domestic, commercial and industrial installations, as well as high voltage installations. I have also been responsible for the supervision and training of apprentices, two of which were awarded ‘apprentice of the year’
  • My duties have often included managing my own workload, whilst ensuring compliance with
  • current Health and Safety regulations. I have gained valuable experience in all aspects of the job, including time management working both alone and as a team member. As a result of this, I believe that I have developed excellent interpersonal skills, which I am able to combine with personal approach ability and clear communication in order to provide a quality service

  • My responsibilities include: supervising 6-10 electricians; keeping track of costs and pricing work; ensuring high standards of work from operatives; staff training; tool box talks; regular contact with management and customers; organising sub-contractors; checking and signing off test certificates and being available to answer technical questions from whomever may need advice, among others
