Management of contractors to provide reactive and preventative maintenance to a Nottingham Packaging Manufacturer complex, comprising of manufacturing, warehouse, distribution and shared services office. Site support for health, safety and environmental, responsible for driving a positive HSE culture and ensuring the site is meeting its legal and moral requirements. Also Site responsible person for legionella and providing a supportive role in meeting sites BRC requirements

Key successes:

  • Management of £450k project to Install a new 9000 m2 factory roof and a 100k project to install a site wide L1 fire detection system, whilst having minimal impact on production
  • Tender and Implementation of full facilities management services through singular contract
  • Effective management of FM global, reducing recommendations from 21 to 4 within 12 months and improving the sites risk score by 35%
  • Identification of key projects that carry significant business risk and prioritising their completion in a 2 year Capex plan
