£41,917.83 Basic Salary
37.5 Hour Working Week
PLUS standby allowance £290 per week! (When on Rota)
Appropriate overtime rate for callouts.
Additionally, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays.
The Role:
- As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you'll play a vital role in diagnosing technical issues and providing solutions for Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems, including some electrical maintenance.
- Your responsibilities will encompass routine maintenance checks, fault finding, repair, and installation.
- Regular interaction with customers will be a key aspect of the role. You'll work across a designated region, reporting directly to the Technical Service Manager and collaborating closely with customers, fellow engineers, and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Commercial gas qualification/certification (COCN1 or CODNCO1) and be Gas Safe registered.
- Ideally qualified and accredited by Gas Safe in commercial gas modules, including CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT, and TPCP1A.
- Experience maintaining Gas equipment/pipe work and hot and cold-water systems.
- 18th edition or supplementary electrical skills will be highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience completing job certificates in an electronic format.
- Full UK Driving Licence is required, with a provided van or car for travel within the specified area.
- Demonstrable experience of liaising with customers.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Good level of PC literacy.
