Job Title: QSHE Advisor EV Division

Location: Worcester based office / Hybrid - covering the Midlands and Northern UK including Scotland

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Overview:

As a QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with relevant QSHE regulations and standards. You will work closely with the management team to promote and embed a positive QSHE culture within the organization. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating QSHE risks and hazards, and implementing best practices to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain QSHE policies, procedures and programs in accordance with relevant regulations and standards

• Conduct regular QSHE audits and inspections to identify risks and hazards, and implement appropriate corrective actions

• Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on QSHE matters

• Deliver QSHE training to employees and ensure that relevant training records are maintained

• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective actions

• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and QSHE auditors as required

• Keep up-to-date with QSHE legislation, regulations and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement

• Monitor and report on QSHE performance metrics and key performance indicators

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field (Desired not Essential)

• Site Electrical safety knowledge (Essential)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Happy to travel with the occasional over night stay

• Knowledge of relevant QSHE regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001)

• Experience in conducting QSHE audits and inspections, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions

• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QSHE management systems

• Professional certifications in QSHE (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
