Working Hours: Flexible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 08:00 - 18:00 - 40 hours per week
Location: National Role can be based anywhere in the UK - Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
Salary: Circa £50,000 plus Car / Car allowance

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager on a Transport Contract which runs from London Huston up to Glasgow / Edinburgh and almost everywhere in between.

The company one of the largest and rapidly growing FM Company in the UK.

Role Purpose:
This exciting but challenging role will involve working on a transport contract that covers the length of the UK. Reporting Directly to the Account Director, you will be working in a well-established team supported by Experienced Managers and over 400 Cleaning Operatives. The role is a fast paced and ever evolving role that will require a large amount of face time with the end client and direct reports. Your challenge will be to deliver an excellent level of service across both trains and related depots.

The role would suit a manager with a strong understanding of cleaning and cleaning principles but especially with strong client facing skills and ideally experienced within the Transport sector (Rail, Airports, Bus Services. Strong interpersonal skills & conflict resolution experience is a must. The role, whilst 40 hours a week, is not your typical 9-5. Due to the 24/7 nature of the contract, you may on occasion chose to work the occasional night shift or early start. No day is the same in this type of position covering this type of client. You will be using the transport system often and travel will be a key component of the role although hybrid working will be available.
