Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer (with Plumbing Responsibilities)
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
On-Call Rota: 1 in 5 weeks (£120 standby, minimum 4 hours paid at 1.5x rate)
Overtime Rates: 1.5x Mon–Sat, 2.0x on Sundays
Holiday Allowance: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

Role Overview:
We’re seeking three Commercial Gas Engineers to join a dynamic and growing facilities team on a busy, high-demand site in Glasgow. This role combines both commercial gas and plumbing duties and offers a strong mix of hands-on technical work and client-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems across a large-scale site
  • Plumbing maintenance and repairs as part of wider building services support
  • 50/50 split between planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
  • Small installations and project works, typically completed on weekends with overtime rates
  • Working as part of a wider in-house engineering team on a 24/7 operational site
  • Participation in the on-call rota (1 in 5)
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (essential)
  • Competence in plumbing maintenance and repair
  • Experience in a similar commercial or facilities management environment
  • Good interpersonal and client-facing skills
