We have a fantastic opportunity working for one of the largest Facilities Management Companies in the UK as a Concierge.

Job Title: Concierge
Location: Bridgend, CF35 5LJ
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift: 07:30-16:30 / 08:00-17:00 (flexibility required)
Role: Concierge/Team Support – Temp to Perm for the right candidate

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to join our team in Bridgend as a Concierge/Team Support. This is a dynamic role with a variety of responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can communicate effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Opening the office each morning and setting it up for the day, including tasks such as filling coffee machines, spot checks on cleaners, turning on air conditioning, performing health and safety checks, and ensuring no leaks in toilets.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Raising jobs for repairs and maintenance, ordering office supplies and cleaning equipment.
  • Visitor Management: Welcoming and signing in staff external to Bridgend, including executives, visitors, and contractors. Escorting them around the site or between office spaces as required.
  • Front of House Duties: Acting as the first point of contact, managing the intercom, booking rooms, hotels, and travel (e.g., taxis), and arranging hospitality for visitors and the leadership team.
  • Post Management: Managing incoming and outgoing post.
  • General Office Support: Scanning invoices, forwarding them to internal departments such as accounts payable, covering phones, and supporting in the planning of charitable and team events.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Providing ad hoc reporting on behalf of the office and working with the onsite team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Excel, Word, etc.
  • Proactive, multiskilled, and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to fit into, work, and feel part of the team.
