Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Bridlington
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-Time


Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee the full delivery of hard and soft FM services across multiple education and community facilities in the Bridlington area. This role would suit an accomplished FM professional with strong PFI experience, commercial acumen, and proven team leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of hard and soft FM services, including electrical, mechanical, fabric maintenance, cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance, and lifecycle works.

  • Lead, mentor, and support a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding performance across all service areas.

  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and P&L accountability.

  • Deliver and monitor Lifecycle and Variation Project Works to meet client requirements within budget and timescales.

  • Ensure contractual compliance, delivering best value through performance reviews and continuous improvement.

  • Maintain excellent client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all operational and contractual matters.

  • Manage subcontractors and service providers to ensure full compliance and consistent service quality.

  • Uphold the highest health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with legislation.

  • Produce high-quality performance and financial reports to inform management and clients.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ senior management experience within Facilities Management.

  • Strong background managing complex PFI contracts.

  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-service teams.

  • Excellent knowledge of FM operations including SFG20, AP/RP structures, and statutory compliance.

  • Health & Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH or equivalent) with experience producing investigation reports and audits.

  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
