Job Title: Electrician
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £37,500 - £39,783 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week + on-call rota (approx. 1 week in 8)

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join a leading facilities and property management provider, supporting housing and accommodation services across the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable, rewarding role with real impact and long-term career development.


The Role

As an Electrician, you’ll provide specialist electrical support and maintenance across domestic properties. Your work will include:

  • Carrying out electrical installations, repairs, testing, and certification
  • Fault finding and maintenance on power, lighting, fire alarms, and emergency lighting systems
  • Supporting general maintenance teams with electrical expertise
  • Performing PAT testing and producing reports and recommendations
  • Participating in an on-call rota (1 week in 8), with standby and call-out pay
  • Travelling across the Cheshire and North West region to attend sites

What We’re Looking For

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (2330, 2365 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience working within domestic dwellings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel regionally and participate in the call-out rota
