Fire Alarm Engineer – Hertfordshire
£38,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + On-Call + Van & Fuel Card
We’re representing a growing fire & security specialist with 65 engineers across the South East, now launching a brand-new division focused on fire alarms. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the start of something big, with clear progression routes into Lead Engineer / Supervisor roles as the team expands.
The Role

Service, maintenance & small works across a commercial portfolio – pubs, restaurants, retail & more

Strong emphasis on fire alarm systems – must have good product knowledge across a variety of brands

Flexible 40-hour week, Mon–Fri (working between 6am–6pm)

On-call rota: 1 in 12 – £100 standby, minimum 4 hours paid, door-to-door when on call

Loads of overtime available with a brand-new contract coming online
Package

£38,000 – £45,000 basic salary

Van & fuel card (personal use included) – company covers 10 miles/day personal use

Travel paid after the first 30 minutes each day

20 days holiday + bank holidays (increases by 1 day each year to a maximum of 28 + BH
What We’re Looking For

Experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with solid knowledge across different products

Comfortable working independently across commercial environments

Based in Hertfordshire / South East (minimal London work)
