Overview: As a Heat Pump Service Engineer within our Renewables department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing various renewable technologies, with a focus on air source heat pumps. Reporting to the Area Supervisor and Contract Manager, you will work diligently to ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and efficiency in occupied and vacant properties.
Responsibilities:

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to Health & Safety Regulations, conduct thorough risk assessments, and assess working environments to prevent damages or injuries before commencing any work.

Repairs and First-Time Fix: Execute repairs on renewable energy heating and plumbing systems, aiming to achieve the company target of a 90% first-time fix rate.

Timely Service: Meet target times for all assigned service calls, promptly escalating any delays to call handlers to ensure transparent communication with clients, customers, or residents.

Maintenance Standards: Conduct repairs and maintenance activities to the high standards set by Aaron Services, ensuring accurate identification and procurement of required parts.

Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of work undertaken, including materials used, and document these details in the company's IT system.

Vehicle and Inventory Management: Keep the allocated company vehicle clean and organized, managing designated van stock levels, and disposing of waste in compliance with Company and HSE regulations.

Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, including the possibility of working outside normal hours to meet the dynamic needs of the business.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach, consistently wearing full Aaron Services uniform.

Vulnerability Reporting: Report any identified vulnerabilities or concerns to management for proper escalation.

Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties deemed necessary by your Line Manager to ensure the overall success and efficiency of the role.
